LUMEDX Certified as an ACC-NCDR CARE Registry Software Vendor

September 22, 2008

September 22, 2008 - The American College of Cardiology has certified the LUMEDX Export to CARE Registry solution, part of its integrated cardiovascular imaging and information system, as an ACC-NCDR CARE Registry software vendor.

The Export to CARE Registry solution is the latest in a suite of software applications developed to address the growing need for accessible vascular data, streamlined clinical workflows, and superior data management.

As the healthcare industry places an increasing emphasis on quality measurement and transparency, there's a corresponding increase in the importance of registry participation. The new ACC-NCDR CARE Registry collects data for carotid artery revascularization and arterectomy procedures, and meets Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) data collection requirements for carotid stenting.

LUMEDX's Export to CARE Registry software enables data capture and submission by helping hospitals automate the processes. LUMEDX software enables hospitals to capture data at the point of care, submit automatically to the ACC, track additional data elements, run reports internally, review program performance, and take an active role in improving outcomes.

The Export to CARE Registry is part of the Apollo Advance Peripheral Vascular Invasive (PVI) Module, enabling clinics to extend their scope and collect additional data-for years of patient follow-up, internal benchmarking, outcomes improvement and clinical research. LUMEDX offers a total vascular solution that helps medical centers easily manage data for electronic medical records, patient reporting and national registry accreditation.
