New Scheduling Software Designed for Cardiac, Vascular

October 31, 2008

Hospitals today need software fast enough to accommodate high-volume clinical areas like cardiology, surgery and peripheral vascular, while providing flexibility for the unique needs of all departments, and LUMEDX said its new scheduling system meets these demands.

The company’s recently introduced CardioSchedule provides efficient scheduling for multiple rooms and procedures across the enterprise, even in multifacility environments. It reportedly provides continuity across departments while allowing individual areas to control their schedules and eliminates labor-intensive, security-risk manual whiteboards and paper records. The system uses a HIPAA-compliant patient/visitor information system.
