The Power of Three for Hybrid Imaging

June 29, 2006

SceptreP3 is a hybrid PET/CT system that integrates the “Power of Three” suite of differentiating capabilities.

SceptreP3’s Dual Attenuation Correction (DAC) technology reportedly allows the combination of both CT and sealed-source attenuation correction to effectively image patients with metal implants. The Non-Rigid Fusion7D algorithm provides registration by correcting for respiration differences between PET and CT acquisitions, and the integration of the AVIA-PACS architecture improves software communication, multimodal connectivity and supports RAID archiving capabilities, said the company.

Featuring fast LSO PET and the Hitachi CT platform, SceptreP3 reportedly offers a new level of integration, connectivity and straightforward operation that delivers clinical results where and when they are needed.
