ProSolv Partners With Cedaron Medical to Provide Complete Registry Support

September 9, 2009

September 9, 2009 – ProSolv CardioVascular enhanced its outcome reporting capabilities by partnering with Cedaron Medical Inc., a developer of quality measurement solutions, to provide the complete registry support that facilities need for ACC, national, and state clinical performance reporting.

ProSolv CardioVascular customers will now have a complete and seamless mechanism for data collection to submit to all reporting databases for their outcomes reporting, ProSolv said. Now available, the integration of Synapse ProSolv cardiovascular with Cedaron’s CardiacCare solution provides facilities with a single point of access for all image management, clinical reporting and outcomes reporting for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Users can now collect procedural information and automatically populate required data into the appropriate registry templates including the American College of Cardiology (ACC) National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR), CathPCI, ICD, CARE and ACTION registries. Several state databases also are populated using the Cedaron software, along with the Society of Thoracic Surgery Adult Cardiac Surgery, Adult Thoracic Surgery, and Congenital Surgery registries. In addition to registry support, the solution provides the necessary tools to benchmark and report performance.

This combined solution provides ProSolv customers with the ability to use a single interface to existing cardiac catheterization lab hemodynamic systems to seamlessly populate the clinical report as well as the registry reporting database for a more cost efficient and maintainable IT infrastructure.

ProSolv will showcase the software at booth 639 during the TCT 2009 conference Sept. 23-25 in San Francisco.
