Software Certified for ACC ICD Registry
June 10, 2010 – The American College of Cardiology (ACC) has certified Lumedx Corp. as an official ACC-National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) Registry 2.0 software vendor.
Lumedx exports to the ICD registry is the latest in a suite of software applications developed to address the growing need for accessible cardiovascular data, streamlined clinical workflows and data management.
As the health care industry places more emphasis on quality measurement, transparency and evidence-based care, registry participation becomes increasingly critical. The ACC-NCDR ICD Registry collects data for implantable cardioverter defibrillator procedures. Version 2.0 has been extended to include pediatric ICD implant data, trial, ventricular, defibrillator, and left-heart lead information at time of implant, revision, replacement or surgical abandonment, and updated quality indicators.
The ICD registry module enables comprehensive data collection while simplifying the registry-participation process. The software is designed to integrate with other Apollo clinical data repository modules so it merges seamlessly with the Lumedx electrophysiology module.
