March 12, 2007 — FORTUNE Magazine has named St. Jude Medical Inc. one of “America’s Most Admired Companies” for 2007. St. Jude Medical ranked No. 1 in the Medical Products and Equipment Companies category.

FORTUNE uses a rigorous assessment to determine a company’s overall reputation, including measurements of innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment and quality of products and services. St. Jude Medical ranked either first or second in the medical products category for:
