US Solution Adds Size, Color, Tint Features

Boston Scientific, a manufacturer of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) imaging technology, will unveil new software enhancements to the iLab Ultrasound Imaging System at AHA 2007.
The release of the new iLab System Software enhancements brings iSize, iColor and iTint features directly to the cath lab reportedly giving physicians the ability to preview device sizing decisions, colorize plaque and blood flow and overlay color to enrich viewing the IVUS image. Since launching the iLab System in May of 2006, Boston Scientific has placed more than 500 systems worldwide.
