Epic Offers Cardiology Information System

Epic has a cardiovascular module for its EpicCare electronic medical record (EMR). The Cardiant Cardiovascular Information System features multi-modality, procedure-specific clinical documentation, including cath lab documentation. The software also offers streamlined consult, follow-up and referral workflows. It supports protocols, ACC criteria and disease/population management activities while offering seamless integration with imaging systems and monitoring devices.

EpicCare was one of the first EMRs to be CCHIT certified.
