Fujifilm Introduced Permivault Cloud-Based Storage Service

Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A. Inc. and Fujifilm Recording Media U.S.A. Inc. Permivault cloud-based storage service expands upon the Fujifilm Synapse managed services platform.  The new service is designed for health and medical data management but is also available for any customer requiring file-based storage.

Permivault cloud-based file storage services provide both on- and off-site solutions for disaster recovery and long-term data archiving.  Fujifilm created the Permivault service to help customers solve their long-term, off-site storage requirements with a cost-effective cloud solution.

Built on Fujifilm’s successful Medical Managed Services platform, Permivault cloud storage services provide a secure storage architecture powered by StrongBox from Crossroads Systems Inc.  StrongBox is the first enterprise-level storage solution that leverages linear tape file system (LTFS) technology, combining the unparalleled scalability of tape with the speed and accessibility of disk.
