Fujifilm, TeraMedica Ink Partnership on Vendor Neutral Archive

Synapse VNA provides a single solution for healthcare providers

March 5, 2013

Fujifilm Medical Systems' Synapse Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) enables customers to manage all types of data generated within their healthcare institution. Instead of the data being standards or non-standards based, Synapse VNA technology will catalog and maintain the data in a patient centric model allowing a single access point for EMRs and other systems.

Fujifilm partnered with VNA provider TeraMedica Inc. Teramedica will provide its VNA technology and design expertise to Fujifilm to optimize and integrate the clinical repository solution with their medical and imaging information management system.

TeraMedica Evercore technology integrates and manages patient-centric clinical content in the clinical and research settings across wide geographies, including standard DICOM objects. Evercore also possesses the ability to natively manage and distribute beyond DICOM using global standards such as MPG, JPG, PDF and many other critical clinical content such as treatment plans for cancer care or vital reports in non-standard formats.
