In 2011, Hitachi Medical Corp. acquired Aloka Company and formed Hitachi Aloka Medical. The company, now the third largest ultrasound manufacturer globally, highlighted the newest offerings from both the ProSound and Hi Vision platforms at RSNA 2011.
