Imaging Systems Provide Faster Acquisition, Flexible Accommodation of Various Detectors

June 30, 2006

The PlatinumOne series, comprised of premium in-room digital acquisition systems, provides advanced imaging capabilities required for complex interventional procedures. Developed to accommodate any type of cardiac cine or fluoroscopic imaging, the PlatinumOne Cardiac and PlatinumOne ComboLab systems offer faster acquisition times as well as new advanced image processing features, expanded DICOM 3.0 interface and enhanced image quality with InfiMed’s newly designed Innovision digital CCD camera. The systems were designed for use as an upgrade to an existing lab or as an integrated full-room OEM solution.

The software platform has the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of detectors from dynamic flat panel to 2K CCD. The PlatinumOne Cardiac system offers more clinically advanced features for higher productivity, with the added benefit of lower radiation dose. Features include: left ventricular analysis (LVA) and quantitative coronary analysis (QCA) which allow results to be saved as photo files for ease of archive and review; customizable doctor preferences that allow individual clinicians to preset their settings for cine/spot/fluoro acquisition and review; and thumbnail displays on the main screen that allow for quick identification of available images with the click of a mouse.
