Kardia's Web-Based Vascular Reporting System Aims for Convenience

March 30, 2009

Kardia Health Systems' KARDIA V is a fully integrated reporting and image viewing solution that aims to help vascular clinics streamline workflow, while improving operational efficiencies.

The SaaS model, or 'software as a service', uses a Web-based platform, allowing practitioners convenient and remote management capabilities of patient images and records- anytime, anywhere. This EMR compatible interface reportedly features robust reporting and a fully editable graphics program, designed for the most frequently performed vascular procedures. KARDIA V auto-populates measurements to help reduce errors. This process reportedly speeds along diagnostics, eliminating dictation and transcription services and helps clinics focus more on the treatment of patients.

KARDIA V is HIPAA compliant, and has Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) compliant structured reports and ICAVL report generation for accreditation submission.
