Welch Allyn CardioPerfect Upgrade Expands, Simplifies Spirometry Testing
Version 1.6.4 of Welch Allyn's CardioPerfectWorkstation (CPWS) software allows digital storage and more efficient review of diagnostic test data from a variety of different electronic devices.
This software upgrade expands and simplifies the ability to perform spirometry testing in medical practices working in thin-client environments. In addition, the updated spirometry module improves the ability to comply with the latest guidelines of the American Thoracic Society (ATS); it works by providing enhanced real-time quality feedback for both adult and pediatric patients.
CPWS version 1.6.4 also introduces an enterprise-class configuration management feature allowing an application service provider (ASP) to conveniently manage multiple hosted physician practices on the same server; it simultaneously keeps individual practice data and configuration settings separate and secure.
With the release of this current upgrade, all CPWS clinical modules are 64-bit compatible and support the latest Windows operating systems while maintaining 32-bit compatibility.
The upgrade also offers improved workflow and user-friendly click-through installation. Other CPWS clinical modules include ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and exercise stress testing. Holter monitoring also is available through a seamless plug-in.
