August 29, 2019 – Merit Medical Systems Inc. announced the U.S. commercial launch of the PreludeSync Evo radial compression device. The PreludeSync Evo is a sterile, single-use, disposable device used to assist in gaining hemostasis of the arterial percutaneous access site following catheterization procedures.

The new device was designed to provide operators improved clarity, safety and patient comfort. A clear balloon and curved backer plate provide optimal visualization of the puncture site, facilitating easy placement.
