360 Degree View of Baylor Heart Hospital's Dedicated Cardiac MRI System

This is a dedicated cardiac Siemens 1.5T MRI system installed at the Baylor Scott White Heart Hospital in Dallas. The hospital felt MRI would have several advantages for assessing cardiac patients over conventional CT, so this system was installed in 2018.  The heart hospital also has a dedicated cardiac Siemens Force CT scanner. Haojie Wang, M.D., director of advanced cardiovascular MRI and a member of the heart valve clinic, explains the utility of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in cardiology and the implementation of the cardiac MRI program at his hospital in the VIDEO: Dedicated Cardiac MRI Use at the Baylor Scott White Heart Hospital.
