Pace Medical Releases New Version of its Pacing Analyzer

December 4, 2008 - Pace Medical Inc. this week said early sales expectations and demand for the new, enhanced version of the AccuPace Pacing Analyzer, which analyzes the permanent heart wires (leads) installed for implantable heart pacemakers and defibrillators, has been strong.

Increased production is forecasted and plans to ramp up production in January are being scheduled, the company said.

Pace Medical said it is the only U.S. company that designs and manufactures a standalone pacing analyzer, a device that is needed in every operation for a permanent pacemaker or defibrillator. The new version has an enhanced LCD display, new user-friendly connector terminals, improved operator preset parameters and utilizes a surface mounted electronic assembly method.

Pace Medical Inc. designs and manufactures Single and Dual-Chamber Temporary Cardiac Pacemakers, Dual-Chamber Pacing Analyzers, Reusable and Single-Use Surgical and Patient Extension Cables and related Accessories.
