August 19, 2014 — At the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2014 meeting Sept. 13-17, Toshiba will display newer features offered on its Infinix cardiovascular X-ray system to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.

Dose Tracking System: Clinicians can visualize their way to safer imaging with a real-time visual display of X-ray skin dose. The intuitive, easy-to-interpret color-coded indicator presented as a graphical representation of the patient minimizes radiation exposure and improves safety. This is particularly important during long interventional procedures to help manage overall patient dose levels.

3-D Roadmap: Linking the C-arm and table with 3-D fused volume and fluoroscopy, the 3-D overlay remains aligned with the fluoro image regardless of table position or C-arm angulation, helping clinicians achieve the highest image quality at the lowest possible dose.
