Aycan OsiriX PRO Workstation Expands Functionality

Several features/plug-ins have been added to aycan’s OsiriX PRO workstation to significantly expand its functionality. The new features will be showcased at Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2012, including the new aycan mobile iPad app, advanced hanging protocols, vessel analysis, 4-D ROI statistics and ejection fraction.

The system also features FusionSync, partner company Chimaera’s software tool for Multi-Modal Image Fusion.  Seamlessly integrated in OsiriX PRO, FusionSync’s fast, reliable and automatic-rigid image fusion allows users to easily view multi-modal and follow-up series together for more efficient diagnoses.

OsiriX PRO is a 64-bit fast, Mac-based, vendor-neutral, highly functional advanced image-processing tool and DICOM PACS workstation for conventional, multi-slice and other image reading. Based on the open source project OsiriX, aycan’s version is turnkey with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance, CE mark and full integration-service and customer support.
