Cerner’s Cardiovascular Reporting Solution Unifies Cardiology

Cerner cardiology reporting, powerchart

December 9,  2015 — During RSNA 2015, Cerner exhibited the latest version of its PowerChart Cardiovascular solution, which unifies diagnostic cardiology activities, therapeutic interventions and follow-up regimens into a unified electronic health record (EHR) for the patient.  This greatly simplifies workflow and enables cardiologists to see a consolidated view of clinical information from within Cerner’s EHR, PowerChart.

Integrated with Cerner’s image viewer framework, Cerner SkyVue, which seamlessly incorporates TomTec advanced cardiac imaging applications, cardiologists are able to view current cardiovascular studies and reports with prior images and EHR information, enabling evidence based diagnosing and treating of patients.  Viewing capabilities integrated with industry leading tools including Merge Hemo and ASCEND structured reporting, enables PowerChart Cardiovascular to provide an end-to-end solution.

PowerChart ECG is also a major Cerner Cardiovascular offering that provides a unique and comprehensive ability to receive, manage, display and report on ECGs anywhere from within Cerner’s EHR and affiliated solutions. The PowerChart ECG viewer component includes communication integration and clinical Worklist functionality that presents a consolidated view of ECG information, visually incorporating prior encounters, critical results and observations.
