The Cordis Aquatrack Hydrophilic Guide Wire is designed to facilitate access to the most tortuous anatomy.
The company said it has better torque response than the regular Terumo Glidewire and has more radiopacity and greater jacket adhesion than Boston Scientific’s ZIPwire or Glidewire. The nitinol wire has a torque response like a stainless steel wire and is said to have a greater turn for turn responsiveness than the Glidewire for better multi-vessel selection and crossability.
The Aquatrack comes in lengths of 150, 180 and 260 mm in both straight and angled configurations.
