Imaging, Reporting Software to be Offered as Pay-Per-View Service

April 1, 2010 – A new partnership will deliver multimodality cardiovascular image analysis as a part of a forthcoming Web-based service to simplify workflow and save time in cardiology practices. Kardia Health Systems and TomTec Imaging Systems recently announced the partnership that will integrate TomTec’s imaging capability with the Kardia Complete structured reporting and workflow technology in development.

Kardia Complete will combine image viewing, structured reporting and archiving into one seamless solution for small and mid-sized cardiology practices. The software should be available in the U.S. by the fall of 2010.

The new software will provide cardiologists with convenient and remote management capabilities of patient images and records, allowing them to work any time from anywhere. With TomTec technology, cardiologists will be able to review diagnostic images with the same accuracy and tools available on popular cardiovascular imaging devices. The software service is designed for physicians in small and mid-sized practices so they can affordably access an expanding array of cardiovascular clinical image analysis and archiving applications.

Kardia Complete will be available in the U.S. market on a fee-per-study pricing plan that is more cost effective than purchasing and managing a dedicated system over the legal life of a study. With this fee-per-study pricing, practices can avoid large upfront investments, annual support fees, data storage costs and periodic system upgrade charges.
