New Versions of Vitrea Enterprise Suite and VitreaView Introduced


November 27, 2011 — Vital, a Toshiba Medical Systems Group Company and provider of advanced visualization and analysis solutions for healthcare providers, will represent the Healthcare and Imaging Informatics business unit of Toshiba Corporation (Toshiba) at the 97th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago (booth 8318, North Hall). The company will also release Version 6.2 of its Vitrea Enterprise Suite (VES) and VitreaView solutions, which include clinical and usability enhancements.

Vital will also launch Versions 6.2 of VES and VitreaView, the company’s 510(k) cleared universal viewer. Vitrea Enterprise Suite, Version 6.2 features clinical and usability enhancements including improvements to its computed tomography (CT) colon, cardiac magnetic resonance (MR), body perfusion and CT brain perfusion applications. It also includes a new myocardial analysis application and a dedicated liver application, which provides tools for segmenting and qualifying the liver and related tumors. Enhancements in VitreaView include new study search capabilities, as well as scalability and workflow improvements. Live hands-on demonstrations of both VES and VitreaView will be given in the Vital booth (#8318 North Hall).
