Toshiba Teli Surgical LCD Offers HD Resolution for More Natural Color

Toshiba Teli America Inc. introduced the T24MSA001-MD medical-grade 24-inch LCD color widescreen monitor with full HD (1,080-pixils) resolution for a natural reproduction of video images and the highest level of differentiation during such applications as diagnostic analysis, video endoscopy and surgery.

The new monitor also offers 800:1 contrast, a brightness level of 500 cd/m2, and the versatility of PIP/POP functionality. It is pole or wall mountable using standard VESA brackets.

Toshiba said the new displays have every feature required by clinicians for surgery and diagnostic imaging procedures, and are especially effective for use with HD cameras.

To meet the latest advancements in digital and analog imaging interfaces, the new monitor connects via DVI-I, DVI-D, composite, Y/C, and RGB video inputs, and supports both NTSC and PAL. In addition, it is designed to comply with a variety of video display formats ranging from VGA (640 x 480) up to WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution.

The LCD also offers a fast response time, combined with a wide viewing angle (178 degrees) and 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, which enables its use for real-time display of EKGs, EEGs, X-RAY and other dynamic medical images, such as bed side monitoring.

Housed in a sealed chassis, the T24MSA001-MD is pole and wall mountable based on the VESA standard, plus has a 24V DC power supply to integrate it easily with surgical arm supports. Other key features include advanced OSD menu control, user-selectable color temperature settings, and
auto termination (75 ohms).
