Advanced Workstation Allows for PET, CT Image Fusion

Cedara’s PET/CT Workstation allows the fusion of PET and CT medical images. With the assistance of PET/CT image fusion, physicians can unite physiology and anatomy, allowing tumors to be seen in relation to their surrounding tissue.
Designed with particular attention to clinical workflow, the workstation provides study loading for automatic series display, customized layouts for different users, hot spot review, simultaneous navigation through different image sets and automatic rotating MIP (Maximum Intensity Projection). Dual monitors used with this application allow simultaneous comparison of CT images, PET corrected, PET uncorrected, PET/CT fused images and MIP among others.
