Software Solution Communicates with Office-Based EMRs

HeartCentrix is a software solution that enables Burdick and Quinton stress, Holter and ECG devices to communicate seamlessly with physician office-based electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Cardiac Science owns the Burdick and Quinton brands.
The software is launched from within the EMR, eliminating the need to log in or enter passwords. Physicians simply place requests for tests from within the patient’s chart then edit, confirm and store results — a process that will improve office efficiency and reduce medical errors. In addition, it allows physicians to review test results from outside the practice wherever they have Internet access to their EMR.
