20/20 Healthcare to Distribute Analyzer for Coronary CTAs

November 19, 2007 - 20/20 HealthCare signed an agreement with Rcadia to distribute Rcadia’s COR-Analyzer computer-aided detection (CAD) software for automatic segmentation and classification of coronary CT angiogram procedures, using 20/20 HealthCare’s subsidiaries, Viztek and 20/20 HealthCare Global, as distribution channels.

The COR Analyzer system detects stenotic lesions in the major coronary arteries and is designed to identify patients without coronary artery disease with a high negative predictive value. Image processing algorithms produce reports for evaluation of patients with suspected coronary artery disease.
The Rcadia COR Analyzer automatically processes Coronary CTA data sets and presents the physician with axial views with color overlays of the coronary arteries and coronary lesions; 3D views of the coronary tree with locations of suspected lesions and color overlays of the four main coronary arteries – RCA, LAD, LM and LCX; and pathology reports. The COR Analyzer accepts standard DICOM images from any 64-slice CT scanner.
