ACC Course Provides Updates from NIH's All of Us Research Program

Evolving Practice of Cardiovascular Precision Medicine course takes place virtually May 13, 2022

The American College of Cardiology's Evolving Practice of Cardiovascular Precision Medicine course on May 13, 2022 will feature an opening session that includes Geoffrey Ginsburg, MD, PhD and Joshua C. Denny, MD, MS.

April 4, 2022 – The American College of Cardiology's Evolving Practice of Cardiovascular Precision Medicine course on May 13, 2022 will feature an opening session that includes Geoffrey Ginsburg, MD, PhD and Joshua C. Denny, MD, MS. Ginsburg and Denny will share updates from NIH’s All of Us Research Program, particularly as it relates to return of results to practitioners and the future of precision medicine with a focus on diversity and inclusion. With the rise of biobanks and eventual return of genetic results through All of Us and other initiatives, it’s imperative that cardiovascular practitioners know how to implement and process results. 

The course will focus on:

  • Application of Genomic Medicine for Cardiovascular Patients
  • Augmented Clinical Decision Support for Cardiovascular Disease Management
  • Intersection of Precision and Personalized Medicine
