AT&T Expands Healthcare Web-Conferencing for Meditech

March 19, 2007 — AT&T Inc. has announced an agreement wherein it will upgrade the conference platform used by Medical Information Technology, Inc. (MEDITECH), a leading software vendor in the
healthcare informatics industry. The migration to AT&T's new audio and video Web-conference services occurs two years into a wide-ranging agreement for AT&T's networking services with MEDITECH. Specific terms of the new contract were not disclosed.

According to an AT&T release, its solution allows MEDITECH to train new and prospective customers in the U.S. and around the world through AT&T's cutting-edge Web- conferencing system. AT&T's dedicated-server architecture gives MEDITECH flexibility and control over conferencing activities while retaining security and redundancy.

The new conference capability will enable MEDITECH to expand the Web-based training sessions to new, current and potential clients. MEDITECH continues to reduce unnecessary travel for its staff and customers through the growth of its Online Seminar program.
