June 17, 2024 — aycan, a recognized leader in medical imaging, announced today a reseller and technology partnership with AI4MedImaging, a company that specializes in applying artificial intelligence (AI) to medical imaging.

aycan launched its official partnership with AI4MedImaging this week by offering their groundbreaking AI4CMR solution, a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) that aims to automate the interpretation of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) using AI.

“aycan is dedicated to providing innovative technologies like AI that help improve patient care while improving productivity and lowering costs,” said Frank Burkhardt, aycan Managing Director, U.S. “Partnering with AI4MedImaging accelerates our ability to do this and to further expand into the cardiology market with their AI4CMR solution.”

aycan plans to resell future solutions from AI4MedImaging and work with them to integrate their AI technology into other partner solutions, such as they recently did with Softneta and their MedDream HTML5 Zero-Footprint DICOM Viewer Version 8.3.0.

“aycan is a highly capable and value-added technology and reseller partner,” said Vitor Hugo Pereira, CEO, AI4MedImaging. “They demonstrated their project leadership and technology expertise working in the expanding medical AI solution space with the AI4CMR project, and we look forward to continued collaborations like this in our now formalized relationship.”

aycan will initially offer AI4MedImaging solutions to customers in the U.S. and Germany.
