MedRad Offers Seminar on Thrombus Management During Rapid STEMI Intervention


September 16, 2009 - Medrad will host a breakfast symposium, “Complete Thrombus Management During Rapid STEMI Intervention,” during TCT 2009, starting at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in Moscone Center, room 130.

Two topics will be covered, including “Importance of Developing STEMI Protocols, STEMI Case Reviews - from the SINCERE Database,” presented by Sameer Mehta, M.D., FACC, interventional cardiologist and voluntary associate clinical professor of medicine, University of Miami School of Medicine, Miami, Fla., and president of the Indo-American Society of Interventional Cardiologists (ISIC), and course director, Lumen-Vascular Interventions Symposium.

The second part of the session, “Managing STEMI Interventions, a Practical Approach,” will be presented by Jacob Dutcher, M.D., interventional cardiologist, Central Minnesota Heart Center, St. Cloud, Minn.,

The session will be followed by a question and answer session.
