Pittsburgh Heart Team Summit

St. Clair Hospital Foundation, in partnership with TCT2019, invite you to join us for theInaugural Pittsburgh Heart Team Summit at PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, August 15 & 16, 2019. Led by St. Clair's Chief of Cardiac Surgery, Program Director, Andy, C. Kiser, M.D., MBA and Program Co-Director, Christopher Pray, M.D., the goal of this Summit is to provide tools to providers, not only surgeons and cardiologists, which enable collaboration in the care of patients with cardiovascular diseases. Attendees of this Summit are eligible for 7 CME credits from ACGME.

The symposium began in August, 2015 in Chapel Hill as the UNC/ISMICS Heart Team Summit. In 2019, the symposium has expanded from the multidisciplinary collaboration around atrial fibrillation and rhythm device management to now include heart valve disease, coronary artery disease, venous embolism, and heart failure. The faculty includes some of the leading experts in these clinical areas. Because surgeons and cardiologists infrequently meet together to discuss ways to improve team dynamics and compare cooperative expertise, this seminar will educate physicians and health care providers about ways to work together for improved patient safety and clinical efficiency. Evidence-based recommendations and treatment guidelines will direct the educational presentations and provide attendees with key learning objectives for related application in their practices.
