Medical Image Viewing Application Offered for iPhone

February 22, 2010 – Since the introduction of the popular iPhone in 2007, numerous medical apps were introduced, however only a few are intended for radiology. iCRco recently introduce iClarity for the iPhone to help improve the physician and radiologist productivity.

With this application the radiologist can remotely access the archive and provide instant support and collaboration with the referring physicians. iClarity allows medical professionals to view the studies waiting to be read, in progress or completed and plan their day accordingly.

iClarity can be configured to connect to multiple archives and multiple locations. It is designed to work with Clarity PACS, or as a standalone product to work with any other PACS.

Some of the features offered by iClarity are smart search and sort options, viewing the complete patient list, zoom, pan and window level, toggling between series, measurement tool and e-mailing options. It can also display reports, which are attached to the study and allows instant feedback,

iClarity LITE is currently available for free on the iTunes store to view the functionalities and downloading demo images. The full version of the app is also on the iTunes store and available for sale to Clarity PACS customers and to anyone with a third party PACS. Visitors can download the app and take it for a test drive at http://itunes.apple.com/app/iclarity-lite-advanced-medical/id354097206?mt=8#.
