Armstrong Medical will display its Auto-Locking Cart with an optional proximity card reader for quick access at the 2008 AACN show in Chicago.
The cart can be locked by pressing the lock button or by setting the auto-lock timer for anywhere from one to 998 minutes. The proximity reader will read most low frequency HID Prox Cards (125 kHz). The cart features lightweight aluminum construction, aluminum mounting tracks, stabilizing frame, 5-inch swivel casters (two locking, one tracking), master code for all programming, access code for daily use, manual or automatic locking, manual key override for emergency access, and a low battery indicator light. The proximity reader is a factory-installed option on the Auto-Locking Carts only. This upgrade must be noted at the time of purchase.
