Calgary Scientific’s ResolutionMD Receives FDA Nod

Calgary Scientific Inc. Medical Group (CSIMG) announced the receipt of FDA 510(k) clearance for its ResolutionMD Cardiac suite of applications, including Calcium Scoring and Coronary Artery Analysis.
The ResolutionMD Cardiac suite is designed to provide rapid screening, identification and quantification of coronary artery disease through disease-specific workflows delivered on a standard desktop or laptop computer. With Calcium Scoring, radiologists, cardiac specialists or technologists are able to complete a study and generate a patient-friendly report in under three minutes. Scored images and reports can be saved to the PACS, EMR or Practice Management System for collaboration with a referring physician, communication with the patient and accurate maintenance of patient records.
