Modalixx Provides Medical LCD for CRT Replacement

The Ampronix’s Modalixx line is the first universal medical auto sync LCD solution for CRT monitor replacement, the company said. With inputs including 1-5 BNC and 15 pin D-Sub, Modalixx offers compatibility for an array of modality applications.

Providing support for analog streaming video or still images, the Modalixx series replaces current CRT displays with LCD technology for the cath lab, MRI, CT, R&F rooms, C-arm, portable X-ray, and nuclear medicine applications. The Modalixx is also compatible with modalities such as GE, Siemens, Toshiba, Shimadzu, and Philips.

The company said Modalixx provides image enhancement by upscaling any matrix image to a 2-megapixel resolution.
