June 12, 2025 – The American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) have announced a new educational collaboration to foster shared learning, drive innovation and strengthen connections across the cardiovascular community.
This initiative will unite the expertise of cardiovascular imaging professionals and interventional cardiologists to deliver a more integrated educational experience that reflects the increasingly team-based approach to cardiovascular medicine and patient care. Each organization will contribute to the other’s flagship meetings through dedicated partnership programming. ASE will contribute to New York Valves: The Structural Heart Summit and Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT), while CRF will participate in ASE Scientific Sessions and State-of-the-Art Echocardiography (SOTA). In support of these efforts, ASE will provide formal brand endorsement for New York Valves and designed TCT programming, while CRF will endorse ASE’s 2026 SOTA meeting and designed annual Scientific Sessions programming.
This collaboration will serve as a platform to exchange expertise, highlight innovation, and explore critical topics in cardiovascular medicine. Clinical leaders from both organizations will work closely together to develop high-quality, relevant content that ensures a dynamic and impactful educational experience for attendees.
“This initiative with our esteemed colleagues at the ASE reflects our shared commitment to expand the reach and impact of cardiovascular education,” said Juan F. Granada, MD, CRF’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Collaboration has always been at the heart of innovation and central to our mission. We’re excited to amplify our efforts, share critical insights, and deliver meaningful content that advances the field and improves outcomes worldwide.”
ASE’s President Theodore Abraham, MD, FASE, added, “This partnership with our colleagues at CRF® reflects ASE’s strategic vision that medicine thrives through collaboration. The future of healthcare will be defined by innovation, cooperation, and multidisciplinary synergy. Together with CRF®, we are excited to advance our shared commitment to delivering education and professional support that deepens understanding of cardiovascular imaging and ultimately improves patient care.”
More details on the joint sessions and participating faculty will be shared as meeting agendas are finalized.
