Stereotaxis Updates Odyssey System for use in Control Rooms, Remote Viewing

May 18, 2009 – Stereotaxis Inc. displayed updated versions of its Odyssey Workstation, Cinema and Connect systems during Hearth Rhythm 2009 in Boston, May 13-16.

The Odyssey data management system is the backbone of the Niobe magnetic navigation system, which is designed to robotically guide EP procedures with more accuracy than manual procedures. The system manages, archives and shares data.

Enhancements to the system include an optional quad high-definition, 56-inch, 8-megapixel display for extremely clear, crisp images.

The control room hub offers six general system inputs and six general system outputs. There are two X-ray inputs and outputs. The procedure room hub offers two general system inputs and outputs.

Odyssey Cinema enables physicians to remotely view real-time high definition images of a procedure. It includes a powerful archiving capability that will allow clinicians to store and replay entire procedures or segments of procedures. Odyssey Cinema also provides physicians with a tool for clinical collaboration, remote consultation, and training through the global Odyssey network.??The system has 2,500 hours of internal storage.

Odyssey Connect allows site-to-site connectivity license, on-demand customer care center support, and a video phone in the control room.
