GE Healthcare, Logiq E9 XDclear 2.0, RSNA 2015

December 16, 2015 — At the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2015 annual meeting, GE Healthcare unveiled its new Logiq E9 ultrasound system. The Logiq E9 XDclear 2.0 offers complete ultrasound from head to toe, obese to thin, neonate to geriatric. It combines the power of XDclear probes with a new XDclear 2.0 platform that maximizes spatial and contrast resolution along with a high definition widescreen XDclear display, including:

  • Imaging technologies to help improve diagnostic confidence while scanning difficult patients;
  • Advanced productivity features and innovative ergonomic solutions; and
  • A comprehensive suite of advanced features made easier for daily use.

XDclear 2.0 optimizes the imaging from the pulse of the probe to each of its pixels and every step in between with up to 22 percent more contrast compared to the Logiq E9 with XDclear. Also, it has 99 percent improved spatial resolution and 170 percent more image information.

The E9 XDclear 2.0 system delivers high-quality images across a wide variety of cases, from the routine to the technically challenging. The XDclear technology enables exceptional penetration and sensitivity, according to the company, even with obese patients, while workflow tools help increase exam efficiency.
