WITS(MD) Announces Company Name Change to ImageMoverMD

Company exhibiting ImageMover Mobile capture technology at HIMSS16

February 23, 2016 — WITS(MD), a provider of medical image workflow solutions, announced a company name change to ImageMoverMD. The new name is part of a re-branding initiative to align the company’s name with its current solutions and future strategy. The name change is effective immediately.

The company’s flagship solution, ImageMover Mobile, turns any smartphone into a secure image capture device without imposing additional restrictions. ImageMover Mobile is HIPAA-compliant – patient information is never present on the mobile device, reducing data privacy risks and minimizing legal risks to healthcare providers. The mobile app currently supports both iPhone and Android devices, and is available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Image capture and transfer is achieved in three steps:

1) A unique QR code is displayed in the electronic health record (EHR).

2) Scan the QR code with any smartphone and then capture your images.

3) Press send. Images are forwarded to the picture archiving and communication system/vendor neutral archive (PACS/VNA) and embedded directly into the EHR.

ImageMoverMD will demonstrate ImageMover solutions at the 2016 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society annual conference (HIMSS16).
