Enhancements to Enterprise Imaging Software Showcased

Major enhancements to the PicomEnterprise software that provide a robust foundation for enterprise imaging will be showcased at the HIMSS conference. Central to the system is the PicomTSM, a high throughput and fault tolerant transaction service manager that can handle clinical and nonclinical data objects. Among other advantages is PicomTSM’s self-healing capabilities, which provide guaranteed uptime while minimizing hardware and bandwidth requirements.
ScImage will introduce the document imaging suite. This will be the industry’s first document management suite within an Enterprise PACS framework that provides the most ideal and economical path toward the digital enterprise. PicomEnterprise, with its built-in document imaging suite, will provide the necessary tools for capturing all relevant patient documents along with the patient’s images and reports so that a comprehensive record of the encounter is available.
The company will also introduce the latest editions of viewing applications including PET/CT Fusion reading tools, an optional comprehensive ECG management suite and several EMR and physician portal integration tools.
