Remote Monitoring System Provides Direct Integration

Boston Scientific’s LATITUDE 2.0 software with LATITUDE remote data integration capabilities is now FDA cleared. LATITUDE Patient Management is a remote monitoring system to provide clinicians with direct device data integration capability into GE’s Centricity Electronic Medical Record (EMR). The LATITUDE Web site also provides increased efficiencies to clinicians through streamlined system navigation and increased alert flexibility. Remote home monitoring is a tool to help physicians manage patients with heart failure and patients at risk of sudden cardiac death. Now, the integration of the technology with GE’s Centricity EMR will help clinicians manage and track patients through use of a more complete patient record.

LATITUDE Patient Management is directly aligned with the ACC/AHA physician society guidelines, which recommend monitoring weight, blood pressure, activity level and quality of life.
