Synapse 3D Provides Advanced Visualization and Analysis for MRI, CT Cardiology Workflows

March 26, 2013 — FujiFilm Medical Systems U.S.A. Inc. showcased its Synapse 3D at the American College of Cardiology (ACC) conference March 9 to 11, 2013 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, Calif. Fully integrated with Synapse Cardiovascular, Synapse 3D will appeal to cardiologists and cardiovascular specialists interested in advanced visualization and analysis for their diagnostic needs.

Synapse 3D eliminates the need to access advanced diagnostic tools from a separate workstation or with a separate login. Now in use at some of the most important and progressive medical facilities in the U.S. and internationally, Synapse 3D has a number of intuitive, easy-to-use features:

  • Easy transition from Synapse PACS or Cardiovascular.
  • Shared left-to-right, top-to bottom workflow for all tools.
  • More than 25 clinical applications designed for use in both general and body part-specific diagnostics.
  • IT friendly design using SSL connectivity, virtualized environment, 64-bit OS support and multiple desktop operating system support.

 

Fujifilm also shared the benefits of its zero footprint mobile application, Synapse Mobility. The application enables access to Fujifilm’s suite of Synapse products from hand-held devices, in addition to Macintosh- or Windows-based PCs.
