Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. expands its Assurance Program to offer reconditioned Toshiba ultrasound systems, including the Aplio Artida.

November 6, 2012 — Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. has expanded its Assurance Program to offer reconditioned Toshiba ultrasound systems. Assurance ultrasound products include AplioTM XG, Aplio MX, Aplio Artida, Viamo and Xario XG. All come with a 12-month warranty.

“Toshiba’s Assurance Program is ideal for small to mid-sized facilities looking for advanced technology with exceptional performance and quality, at a reasonable price point,” said Tomohiro Hasegawa, director, ultrasound business unit, Toshiba. “Each pre-owned ultrasound unit is backed by the same superior standards and dedicated customer service support as a brand-new Toshiba ultrasound system.”

Previously owned Toshiba ultrasound systems are inspected at Toshiba’s Quality Assurance Center in Irvine, Calif. Each system is examined, tested and upgraded with new parts and software, then tested a second time against Toshiba’s original factory standards.

Toshiba’s Assurance program is available to Toshiba ultrasound customers as well as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) customers.
