September 4, 2015 — TRU-Vu Monitors has launched a new line of 24-inch HD surgical LCD monitors and touch screens.

The new MM-24 Series monitors were designed to provide surgeons and medical staff with vivid full HD-quality color video images and 178° x 178° viewing angles to enhance their ability to make critical decisions quickly and accurately.

All models feature rear VESA holes to conveniently mount to any boom arm or medical cart. A variety of digital video inputs ensures compatibility with endoscopic, laparoscopic and other cameras, and a wide range of other medical imaging systems and operating theaters.

The MMZBTP-24 Series surgical touch screens feature a projected capacitive-type touch screen.  These provide multi-touch capability and can be activated with surgical gloves or exposed fingers. The modern zero-bezel edge-to-edge front glass design enhances visibility and simplifies cleaning.

Both the monitors and touch screens are UL 60601-1 listed and comply with current CSA and EIN 60601-1 safety regulations relating to medical applications.
