Amerinet Adds Fujifilm's RIS, CVIS


June 23, 2009 - On June 12, 2009, FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA Inc., announced that Amerinet, one of the leading healthcare group purchasing organizations (GPOs) in the United States, added Synapse cardiovascular and Synapse RIS to its existing Fujifilm contracts. This addition makes the company’s complete product portfolio – including PACS, digital x-ray, digital mammography, and film – available to the entire Amerinet membership.

Fujifilm’s Synapse RIS and Synapse cardiovascular systems have been added to the existing PACS contract; as of May 1, 2009, they became available, and they will remain in place through the contract’s term. Amerinet members now have access to Fujifilm’s entire Synapse portfolio including Synapse PACS, Synapse RIS and Synapse cardiovascular - the first fully integrated Web-based PACS solution- in addition to Fujfilm’s FCR, FDR and FFDM systems.
