Sectra to Distribute Synthetic MR's Software in its PACS

November 17, 2008 - Sectra and Synthetic MR AB have signed a distribution agreement for Synthetic MR AB's software-based technology in an effort to improve patient flow and analysis of MR examinations.

In accordance with the agreement, Sectra will distribute Synthetic MR's software, SyMRI Suite, as a plug-in in its PACS solution.

"With Synthetic MR's software as part of our PACS system, we will significantly increase not only the efficiency of the actual MR examinations, but also the effectiveness of the radiologists, through enhanced possibilities for identifying pathological tissue," said Torbjorn Kronander, president of Sectra's medical business.
