Agfa Exhibits IMPAX Cardiovascular Suite at BCS

June 2, 2008 - Agfa HealthCare will exhibit its IMPAX Cardiovascular suite, a structured results management solution with an ECG component, at the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) annual congress in Manchester from June 2-4, 2008.

Agfa's IMPAX Cardiovascular is designed to ensure the accuracy of patient records and eliminates redundant data entry. Structured results management is engineered to speed physician report generation and improves clinical communication. HeartStation, a new web-based ECG management system and component of the suite, will also be on display.

Allowing consultants to view high quality images the IMPAX Cardiovascular suite also generates digital reports for all cardiology modalities at the review station or via the web. Its flexibility allows it to be used as a stand-alone cardio PACS or as part of a combined Radiology-Cardiology PACS deployment.

Agfa’s Cardiovascular solution has been designed for Cardiology Departments of all sizes and procedure volumes, from a single echo machine to multi-site directorates encompassing XA, US, CT, NM and cardiac MR.
