Digisonics Users Expand CVIS, RIS Capabilities

May 26, 2009 – HeartCare Cardiovascular Specialists in Libertyville, Ill. expanded its CVIS capabilities with a new DigiNet Pro system. This system will provide the site with Web access enabling users to have full CVIS capability from anywhere at anytime.

Cape Radiology Group in Cape Girardeau, Mo. has implemented HL7 interfaces between their Digisonics OB-Windows Clinical Reporting System and AMICAS RIS. The interfaces will automate downloads of patient information to their Digisonics system and automatically transfer finalized reports directly to their Amicas RIS; streamlining workflow by eliminating human input error and increasing productivity, Digisonics said.

Digisonics image management and reporting systems combine high-performance image analysis, professional reporting, an integrated clinical database, a powerful PACS image archive and exceptional solutions for remote connectivity into one system.
