ZOOM+ Launches New On-Demand Imaging Service

Web and mobile service offers on-demand scheduling, flat-fee pricing for X-rays, ultrasounds and CT scans

June 15, 2016 — ZOOM+ announced the launch of ZOOM+Imaging, a proprietary digital platform for on-demand scheduling, paying and sharing results for X-ray, ultrasound and computed tomography (CT) scans.

Scheduling a visit takes less than a minute at Zoomcare.com and with the new ZOOM+ iOS app. Prices are easy to understand and clearly displayed. Self-pay prices are $49 for an X-ray, $199 for an ultrasound and $299 for a CT scan. Visits run on time and take only 20 minutes for most images. Results are delivered to providers within 4 hours, and patients get them delivered directly to their phone within 24 hours. And, for the first time ever, X-ray images will be delivered directly to the patient's secure account on the mobile phone app. Physician referrals are accepted from ZOOM+ and outside doctors.

Built on an on-demand complete care platform, ZOOM+Imaging disrupts the waste streams in the existing hospital-based systems by eliminating high prices, difficulty in scheduling and delays in getting results. In Oregon, where ZOOM+ is based, the cost of X-rays and CT scans can cost up to four times ZOOM+Imaging prices.
